While working as a UX/UI Designer at Dtail, I tackled various projects enhancing features and solving usability issues to improve the overall user experience.
In this case study, I delve into my process of redesigning the navigation for Dtail's Catalogs. Catalogs feature complex, nested hierarchies of 'assortments' (product collections) that proved difficult to navigate, especially in our Dtail Spaces app. My task was to create a system that both solved immediate pain points and accommodated the diverse ways clients organise their content.
In 2021 I contributed to the evaluation of an multimodal interface for autonomous vehicles as part of the MEDIATOR project.
I designed and developed an interactive, virtual reality tool (VRHEAD) to simulate the interaction of the users with the interface in the driving context. VRHEAD was successfully used to evaluate user’s understanding of audio-visual feedback given by the vehicle in different driving modes, contributing to the design of a safe and reliable system.
Rapidly evolving products demand constant re-evaluation to meet emerging challenges.
During my time at Dtail, my team had the exciting opportunity to explore how fashion product designers could become a core user group. This case study reveals how our research uncovered these designers' unique needs, ultimately leading to the design of a solution that could integrate Dtail into their workflow from the earliest stages of design.
